What do I need to bring?

Do you have rental bikes?
Unfortunately at this moment we do not have a rental fleet, however we will be more than happy to help arrange hire with local companies.
What if the weather is grim?
If we only rode our bikes when the sun was out we’d spend most of the year inside... We ride in all weather unless the guide decides that it would not be safe to venture out. In this case we will try to find a more suitable route, if this can’t be done we will offer to refund your deposit or re-schedule your ride when the weather gods are feeling nicer!
Do you offer transport?
We will send you a detailed description of where the trail head is and will meet you there. To minimise the amount of driving, MTBHighlands try to end all of our rides where we begin. However in the rare event we need to run a shuttle then this will be provided.
How many people will be on the ride?
We take a maximum of four clients on our rides. This allows us to give the necessary attention to each individual, it also means we have a lower impact on the trails and other trail users. If you are a larger group please contact us to discuss other options.
Will there be cake?
You bet! At the end of all our rides you’ll be greeted by a slice of homemade cake and a hot steaming mug of tea/coffee... You’ll have earned it!
